Short Summary
Offer exceptional service and create a positive guest experience for those dining in 360 Restaurant. Responsible for professionally and efficiently taking orders and serving food and drink to dining guests at the table. Making customers feel welcome and comfortable, and while always performing under the Food and Beverage Standard Operating Procedures.
Job Description
Check assigned section for cleanliness, uniformity and overall appearance included but not limited to linens, chairs, tables, table settings and surrounding area
Checks all glassware, and cutlery for cleanliness and the appropriate type is set up on the table
Direct 360 Waiters to ensure side stands are clean and organized
Communicate with Restaurant Manager(s) when there are deficiencies with par stocks (i.e. glassware, china, silver, linen, and other miscellaneous supplies)
Provide table service including but limited to, accurate and professional order processing, timing, seat placement, special requests all in accordance to the Food and Beverage Standard Operating Procedures
Provide beverage service for both nonalcoholic and alcoholic beverages in accordance to proper wine service and Smart Serve regulations
Work in conjunction with 360 Waiter/Food Runners and Kitchen (shift Sous Chef) to ensure guests receive their orders efficiently and promptly
Be present in your assigned section perform regular quality checks and seek guest feedback of service, and provide to management if necessary
Appropriately respond to guest feedback and offer effective service recovery when required
Present an accurate and complete bill at appropriate time, follow accounting and Point of Sale (POS) practices
Qualifications
Three (3) to five (5) years of fine dining server experience is required
Smart Serve certification is required
A diploma from a secondary school is required]
Food and Beverage point of sale software skills is an asset
Culinary arts education, wine and spirits courses or programs, bartending schooling is preferred
Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset
