Title:  Sales and Event Coordinator

Short Summary

  • Provide administrative support to the Sales team
  • Respond to all incoming inquires in a timely manner and provide clients with product options and pricing information
  • Compile data, review, prepare and distribute reports
  • Book, service and execute corporate group events where required.
  • Assist with group observation and dining reservations and contracting as required
  • Coordinate the efforts of the department to ensure reservations and reporting is accurate

Job Description

Primary Focus

  • Department support for incoming business enquiries, client communication, booking and data entry
  • Reports including hospitality report and research reports
  • Corporate event quotes, planning and contracting as directed by Manager, Sales
  • Guest feedback, monitoring and reporting
  • Observation and dining group sales entry as required
  • Liaise and communicate with all departments as internal contact for group bookings, relating all information and specifications on all groups as deemed appropriate by the Manager, Sales 
  • Provide administrative support to Manager, Sales

  • A relevant college diploma or university degree in Hospitality, Tourism, Sales, Marketing, Business or equivalent experience is preferred
  • A minimum of two (2) years of related experience in hospitality, tourism or sales
  • Superior organizational skills necessary to manage large volumes of business from various sources and to coordinate multiple projects
  • Demonstrated commitment to excellence in customer service, including good judgment, diplomacy and tact to responsibly deal with guest recovery
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Bilingualism (English & French) an asset
