Title:  Retail Store Representative

Short Summary

Provide guests with superior service by providing information and sales assistance on CN Tower products and services. Sell, replenish and merchandise retail store products.

Job Description

Selling:

• Accurately and efficiently operate point of sales system and accurately maintain all cash at the till
• Demonstrate superior communication and listening skills
• Execute role in specific area of responsibility with demonstrated quality focus and delivery
• Upsell, cross sell, and substitute sell all possible CN Tower products
• Demonstrate excellent product and service knowledge.
• Merchandising assistance as required

Loss Prevention:

• Employ counterfeit measures to ensure that all cash (Canadian and American), debit cards, credit cards, traveler’s cheques, vouchers and gift certificates are verified and authentic
• Assist guests who have activated the store alarms to ensure legitimacy of in store purchase requirements

Customer Service:

• Demonstrate excellent product and service knowledge
• Demonstrate superior communication and listening skills
• Present a professional image to guests; act as ambassador of the CN Tower and the City of Toronto
• Engage and interact with guests

Miscellaneous:

• Communicate guest requests to management
• Maintain orderly appearance of cashier areas and supplies stocked
• Contribute to specific interdepartmental programs as required
• Additional responsibilities as directed by the Supervisors, Retail Store
• Adhere to all Company policies and departmental procedures.
• Other duties as required

Qualifications

• Retail sales experience an asset
• Retail loss prevention and/or hospitality and tourism experience is an asset
• Understanding and familiarity with retail processes, selling /up selling an asset
• Bilingual (English/French) an asset
