Job Description

Requirements

• Complete opening and closing procedures of Le Cafe Kitchen, as set out by departments standard operating procedures (SOP's)
• Assist with the transportation of all food products, be sure it is packed and stacked in accordance to Kitchen Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s
• Prepare and cook food products ensuring proper techniques are followed
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of menus, products, cooking process, ingredients and potential relevant allergies
• Dispense and serve prepared food items to guests
• Follow up with management prior to shift regarding special functions or events for the day
• Participate in departmental skills training as required
• Assist the Chefs and Cooks with other designated duties within the job classification
• Adhere to all Company policies and departmental procedures and the Collective Agreement

Qualifications

• A relevant college diploma or university degree in culinary arts, cook’s trade certification or equivalent is preferred
• Completion of a secondary school diploma is required
• Valid Food Handler’s Certificate preferred
• One (1) - three (3) years of related quick service experience is an asset
• Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset
