Title:  Assistant General Manager, 360 Restaurant

Short Summary

Directly manage the Restaurant Managers/Supervisors and Reservations, works alongside the Associate Managers, and works with the Back of House (BOH) team to ensure a cohesive team strategy.  Responsible for the overall management of Reservations, events bookings and ensures the proper execution of the day-to-day operation of unionized employees. 

 

Responds to guest feedback regarding experience in the Food and Beverage department  Ensure consistent and effective administration and follow up of the performance and development programs, the recruitment and training programs and Human Resources policies and procedures. Assist with the development of the business plan under the direction of 360 General Manager, to meet guest expectations and enhance the reputation of the restaurants.

Job Description

Restaurant Operations & Reservations

Visibly present and engaged in service during peak periods

Directly manage 360 Managers and assist the Associate Managers, and Reservations, as required

Responsible for special events for VIP clients and liase with the restaurant staff that all memos and special requests are followedManage the Reservations System, and the monthly audit of Reservations Gift Cards

 

Work with the 360 General Manager in developing, monitoring, and controlling the budgets to meet departmental operating objectives and maximize profitability

 

Qualifications

A relevant college diploma or university degree in Hospitality and Tourism, Restaurant Management or equivalent is preferred.  A diploma from a secondary school is required

Five (5) - Seven (7) years of related experience in management of the restaurant operations or related operations is requiredExperience managing, coaching, training and developing employees

Experience managing inventory of beverage stock, including purchasing and ordering

Working Conditions

Flexible to work rotating shifts, which includes but is not limited to evenings, weekends, holidays and overtime as required.
Interacts with employees, management and the public at large.
